I designed and built the set for Wizard Theatres, the Wind in the Willows. This set was of a huge rotting tree stump, that was on wheels. it broke into sections and each revolved round to reveal each characters house.
I designed and built the set, puppets, props and did the makeup for Illyrias Tour of Roald Dahls the Twits. this involved a revolving caravan, a huge cage, a family of monkeys. I didn't make the 6 meter tall tree with a fly rig inside to make Mrs Twit float to the moon. i did however give her the ballons and send her on her way!
This is a project I designed with the River People, a marriage of storytelling, projection, shadow puppetry and music. to be performed in pubs and the cutty sark, we wanted a steampunk, grungy but rich feeling. i designed the whole production from poster to costumes and scenery and lighting
I designed and built the set for The Berry Theatres Youth production of Strawberries and Steam, i turned the theatre into a huge barn, with local businesses selling cakes on fete stalls and i enlisted the WI to help make what was somewhere near 2 1/2 miles of bunting..
I designed and built the set, props and puppets for Illyrias outdoor touring production of Roald Dahls Fantastic Mr Fox. this included, a Huge digger, a large falling tree, 12 chicken puppets, and a few fox holes.
I designed and built the set for Wizard Theatres Ali Baba. this included and very large cave, that rolled forward and then two halves of it spun round in opposite directions revealing the inside. This huge cave was able to pack down into a small transit van though, along with the rest of the set and the actors.
